Crash is recovering from two knee surgeries. Dr. Fucci has gone above and beyond what a normal vet would have done. She has reasonable prices and cares for each and every pet. She met me with Crash on a holiday weekend (Sunday) to check Crash’s bandages because I was concerned that they were wet and dirty. It was not an emergency but she was THAT concerned about him that she agreed to meet me. Florida Doggie Paws would like to say THANK YOU! We encourage anyone who has a pet that needs a specialist please call her. She is a full service rehabilitation center. Her staff and facility is second to none.

Welcome to the new Florida Doggie Paws Rescue website!
Florida Doggie Paws Rescue is an all volunteer, foster based 501 (c) 3 Organization. All donations are Tax Deductible.FDPR is a grass-roots rescue formed by 7 people with one common goal…to save the dogs. Our mission is to responsibly rescue, spay/neuter, rehabilitate, foster and find permanent loving homes for unwanted, abandoned and abused small to medium breed dogs in our community and throughout the State of Florida.
We need more fosters and volunteers to accomplish that mission. Please fill out a volunteer application and open your heart and your home to one of these poor dogs that just needs a place to stay for a few weeks until we can find their forever home. The reward of knowing that you saved that life is immense.
When small to medium breed dogs are in need, FDPR volunteers will respond!
FDPR adopts only to Florida residents.

Micro chipping your pet!! If your pet is ever lost, this is one way to have him/her traced back to you. There IS low cost micro chipping available. For the Tampa area, check out our events schedule, there you will find information for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay's micro chip clinics. Not in the Tampa area? You can contact "your" local Humane Society to find out if they offer a similar program or they may be able to direct you to one.
